As my daughter plans her fall wedding, I am reminded over and over again how important it is to stay organized; it’s really the only way to avoid stress and unpleasant surprises on the big day.  And whwedding organizationo knows more about wedding organization than Martha Stewart – this tip came from her website, marthastewart.com.

Martha suggests stowing all of your supplies and materials for your tablescapes and other decor in clear plastic bins, and attaching pictures of what you wish the final setup to look like. I would probably take it a step further and create a binder of photos and instructions as well as diagrams that shows room layouts for ceremony and reception. That way, whether you have a professional or a trusted friend coordinating the setup, they should be able to assemble your vision without your direct involvement during the crucial hours leading up to the ceremony.

Wouldn’t it be lovely to have the detailed setup handled by others on the day of the wedding so that the bridal party and immediate family can enjoy every moment together? If you plan ahead, it can become a reality
